Sterndale over-strung, under-damped drop action upright piano.

Size: H 36½", W 52½ ", D 19 ". Opening the lid adds about 5" to the height

Case: Mid brown in good condition.

Keyboard: full 7 octave.

This piano is badged as a 'Sterndale', and may be named after William Sterndale Bennett, the English composer, who was born in Sheffield in 1813. It is a low level piano, suitable for the smaller room. The sound is surprisingly rich for the size of the piano. I have tuned it to concert pitch.
